How to Find Us
Netherthorpe Airfield, home of Sheffield Aero Club is really easy to find.
From M1, Junction 30:
- Take the A619 towards Worksop for 5 miles
- Take the 1st left after the Half Moon public house (signposted Shireoaks)
- After 1 mile, turn left opposite Holme Carr Farm (signposted Shireoaks)
- Turn left at the 'T' junction
- Turn left opposite the church (signposted Thorpe Salvin)
- After 1 mile, turn left just before the stone cottage
- Netherthorpe Airfield is on the right
From M1, Junction 31:
- Take the A57 towards Worksop
- At the 2nd roundabout, turn right (signposted Thorpe Salvin)
- After 1 mile, turn right opposite the church (signposted Thorpe Salvin)
- After 1 mile, turn left just before the stone cottage
- Netherthorpe Airfield is on the right
From the A1 junction with the A57:
- Take the A57 towards Worksop
- At the 5 roundabout, turn left (signposted Thorpe Salvin)
- After 1 mile, turn right opposite the church (signposted Thorpe Salvin)
- After 1 mile, turn left just before the stone cottage
- Netherthorpe Airfield is on the right
When You Arrive At Netherthorpe
The Sheffield Aero Club flight centre is directly opposite the entrance to the main car park. Please take care when parking not to obstruct any emergency entry and exit points.
